Instructions
Simply cut the ablation tip off the catheters, disinfect them and place them in one of our EP catheter collection containers. When the container is full, follow the provided packaging instructions. Shaw Recovery Services cannot accept medical biohazard waste. If the materials sent in have been used in the medical arena, then they must be disinfected prior to shipment.
Platinum Return
When a container is received, it will be processed and the platinum will be refined. The market price used will be the London PM platinum price on the day of settlement, which can be seen at www.kitco.com/market There is no guarantee of a return. These types of products vary greatly in their platinum content and some products are silver bearing instead of platinum bearing.
The Kit
The kit requires an initial deposit that will be credited back through the platinum recovery when it is returned for refining. This 3.5” x 3.75” x 8” registered system includes a shipping box for outbound shipping, 1.4 quart container, zip lock bag, instructions, refinery shipping box with prepaid shipping label and refining charges. If you would like a larger container, please let us know. Reimbursement to the customer will be 75% of the net proceeds from the refinery. The entire process, from the time the customer ships the full container, will take approximately 45 days. As a result, the first order should be for two registered systems. The reimbursement check will be placed in a new registered system and mailed to the customer.
